I don't do many reviews other than book reviews here on my blog, but when Kristen contacted me about reviewing a couple of Ecostore USA products I decided to give them a try. Over the past couple of years I have been trying to transistion to more natural cleaners around our home so I looked forward to trying them out.
Their products contain "no nasty chemicals". No petrochemicals, no phosphates, no bleach, no nitrates, and none of several other chemicals. Also, according to their product descriptions they are biodegradable and all ingredients are safe for the earth.
I liked how the spray cleaner worked in my kitchen. It cleaned as well as any store bought cleaning spray. I also loved the light citrus scent that didn't send your senses choking like some chemical sprays.
The cream cleanser worked extremely well in my bathroom. It cleaned the sink and bath even better than some bathroom cleaning sprays I've used before. And again the nice fresh scent was great.
The only draw back for me would be the cost. While a 17 oz bottle of the spray cleaner costs $9.00 if you use less of it then it would be worth it. I've only used it a couple of times so far so I can't really speak to this compared to normal sprays. The refill is only $7.00 for the spray cleaner.
Ecostore does address this on their website by saying, "ecostore USA knows that it can be expensive to buy natural or organic products, but we've found a way around this by safely super-concentrating each formulation. This means that a little really does go a long, long way. The result is saving money by significantly cutting down on cost per use."
They do offer free shipping on orders over $25 and can also be found at Meijer and Duane Reid stores.
