June 13 - POTD - Glass Insulators

I'm fascinated by these glass insulators that used to be used on telephone poles.

Day 9 - My first day with my new blackberry. :)

Day 10 - Rain, Rain Please Go Away. Most of today has been gloomy and cloudy. More storms moving in bringing cold weather behind it. It seems I've been watching weather segments like this most of the new year. I'm ready for some sunshine. This shot is not showing our area of the state, but that rain will be moving toward us later this evening.

Happy Birthday to the Cell Phone!

Did you know that the cell phone industry turns 25 this week? Ahh, how times have changed! I didn't get a cell phone until I was married 11 1/2 years ago.  I feel lost without my cell phone now. Not that I talk it on it all the time, but I keep it with me in case of an emergency with my DS or any of my family. But my sister and I turned out fine and our mom managed without one. I could survive without one I suppose, but I am certainly glad I don't have to.

And yes, I do realize this is probably useless information. :) I'm full of it, useless information that is. :)
