James Patterson is an author that usually keeps you on the edge of your seat with thrillers like the Women’s Murder Club series and Along Came a Spider as well as many others. In Sundays at Tiffany’s he brings together romance and mystery for a heartwarming tale of a young, imaginative girl named Jane struggling to grow up in a dysfunctional life created by her mother.
Jane’s imaginary friend, a handsome and funny man named Michael, helps her through her early childhood years until he informs her on her 9th birthday that he must leave her.
Never forgetting her imaginary friend, Jane grows up in a struggle between being true to herself or to acquiesce to the pressure from her mother to follow a life she doesn't want.
So imagine her surprise and confusion when Michael, her imaginary friend childhood, appears before her one day. And not just to her, but to others as well. What if he is the one true love she has been searching for?
Patterson’s Sunday at Tiffany’s is a stirring tale of what can happen when an imagination becomes more than childhood ideas. I enjoyed this story a great deal. It was an easy and quick read, but still held the imagination for which James Patterson is so well known.
Now for a give-away. Leave a comment here on this post and I'll draw a name to receive my copy of Sunday at Tiffany's. I'd love to pass it on.
Oh I read this and it was really good. Jason reads just about all James Patterson's stuff - some are just too much for me, but this one - I loved!! Hope you get to pass it on and whoever gets it loves it too!!
